Okay, in person I've seen, John Kennedy and Jerry Ford, both at the time were not Presidents.

I've seen GW Bush Sr. when he was President, but running for reelection, and ending a whistle stop in Spartanburg, S. C.!

It was quite exciting.
I also saw the press shut down when the crowd was overflowing, and they had to delay the President's train for over an hour to get the crowd in...many still didn't make it, they were hanging from the bridge over hang, and lining the streets outside the train depot. There was a huge crowd, over 30,000 from a tiney dot on the map.

That same day, Clinton made a speech in downtown Chicago, and 5000 people showed....the press kept screaming about the great crowd clinton had drawn, and nothing was mentioned of Bush's crowd in SC.

Anyone could draw 5000 people in downtown Chicago, if they stopped traffic!
