UK consumer debt is small beer compared to what George Bush is doing. Fully 25% of U.S. Federal Gov't. spending in FY 2005 will be financed.

This is insanity.

For any here suffering under any illusions about the legacy of the Clintons, it should be noted that Hillary Clinton championed the veto of the pending revisions to the bankruptcy laws when she was the First Lady, but now that she's the Senator from Wall Street, she voted to create very onerous and one-sided terms favored by the drug-peddlers at VISA, MasterCard and Discover.

An ironic term, if ever there was one, for the unwary consumer caught in a 18-to-25% credit card debt hell.
