Elmat comes in defense of the US: MSFT by having a monopoly didn't allow stupid engineers all over the world writing different norms for PCs.

As an old engineer I have my share of stupidity built into things just to satisfy norms.

The US also have electric plugs are sensible as is the Schuko-type used of Germany. Look to the Aussie plug, even a cow can laugh about it, and (Oh my God! the British.

But paper in you printer it is still A-4 for normal people and Legal and Letter for the US.

On the subject of jokes, satire, parallels, and their context: (I'm quoting off my head) " I may side with Palestinians for all the suffering they had to go through. But I have difficulty explaining my position to somebody, who rides a bus every day to his or her job in Tel Aviv".

Those comparisons, provocations, and other BS, it's just ... ill in place. And you can talk miles about how it make sense. Makes no difference, at least to those riding the bus. Can you show a little empathy? And shut TF up?

Regards
