I would like to remind both of you that bpi-21 was never denied. >>>>IT WAS NEVER SUBMITTED.
AND
Being a baxter property, it is very likely that xoma had ANY
say in the submission matter. But NOW its another story.

>I would instead put the ONUS on the fda and submit the product with the data AS IS. Let the FDA have the hot potato of trying to deny bpi-21 for dying children.
(right now the fda can just claim it was never submitted)

>and the company knows of my request for them to just submit as is. (can you imagine the shock if they did)
>the company has said they will take whatever path they believe will bring them to an approval. We will see and I am looking for a STRONG bpi backer or another probe. skd

George, I WELCOME any NEGATIVE thoughts or concerns about Xoma. It seems as though it isn't so much as WHAT posters are posting as much as people seeing half full or half empty. In my opinion I think Xoma in the near future will be PROFITABLE. In my opinion I think XMP.629 will be successful. Seems that there are around 100 institutional investors with owning around 45% of Xoma think along the same lines as I do. Now that is half full, CIBC recently seems to be shouting half empty.LOL

George. Just some friendly advice. >I fully understand your motivation to not invest based on "transparency". But that aside, you have a truely unique opportunity from your exit point to where you went, to possible re-entry.
That said, I really to not wish to "sell" you on xoma.
I have noted though that when you where "in" you saw many things as "peachy", when you exited then things appeared "not peachy". Thats OK. I have no problem with that. In fact I really dont care what you do. But, I do consider you a e-friend and a such, I merely wish to point out to you that you should indeed re-examine you current good fortune and indeed re-examine your current and former reasons for interest in this company.
Its certainly ok to factor in the lack of transparency issue of yours. My point is you have a unique opportunity. Like I said. I have no desire to sell you on it, only to suggest you take some perspective on it and hopefully whatever decision you make will be a good decision for you.
Just IMO, no value (but you know that, vbg)skd
