It is impossible for them to look beyond their noses.

Mona Charon had a nice article in the paper today about Kerry's hypocrisy and anti-war stance ever since returning from Vietnam. So he shouldn't call himself a war hero.

I heard Charlie Rangel yesterday too. I have never liked him. But even if people whom I do not like, say something that is true, I would at least have to look at what he says and judge for myself.

What moral authority does Bush have to order the Guards into combat in Iraq when he himself defaulted as a member of the Guard? It is not about demeaning Guard duty which you folks are trying to turn it into. It is about making a commitment and following through on it. If he failed to do so as a member of the ANG in Alabama, then how can we trust him to keep his commitments as President for the next 4 years?

The CBS poll found Bush's support weak — below 50 percent — in several areas, including the economy, Iraq (news - web sites) and foreign policy, although he remains strong on handling terrorism with 64 percent approving.

* So looks like Bush will try to run on "handing terrorism" against one of the top vcounter-terrorism experts in DC. Kerry actually wrote a book on the subject.
