gg, we don´t have those low temperatures in the south of Europe!!. The average minimum temperature where I live in January is +12C.

I was checking the product specs of the solar panels and the antifreeze liquid only goes down to -28C. I expect that the liquid will be much higher than when the solar panels are working.

I have 2 of this solar panels (6M2) connected to an 1500 liter tank in the basement (hot water accumulator). In January I get the water to be at an average of 42C, so no need for any fossil fuel burning. In the summer I have to shut one panel and still get +50C. Vacuum tubes as solar panels can get very hot!!.

As far as valves and pipes I leave it to my maintenance guy but I can confirm that I have grunfoss equipment too.
