>>> Those who genuinely opposed the war knew that all hell was about to break loose in Iraq, considering the many alarming factors already at play, including the fundamentalist mindset of Bush's ruling elite, rooted in a strange mix of religious zealots, ideologues and corporate interests.<<<

Why wasn't America's media smart enough to figure this out?

Like many others, I think they were afraid. Have you forgotten what it was like before the war? Any complaint about Bush and his policies was considered an act of treason? People were afraid to say or do anything.

Thank God for the Brits and their media. They smelled a rat and never stopped with their criticism.

Our media failed us at a very important time! It seems to me......if they want to live in a democracy, they must get over their fear!
