Yes, there's always that.

It seems to me that it's valuable to have an entre to the WH if Kerry wins. Unless dad is a devout Bushie, it's in his interests in every way to support Kerry. He protects his daughter and gains a potential entre, all with one short statement. Nothing but upside.

Perhaps the persuasive power of a suitcase filled with cash. Doesn't even have to have come from Kerry. George Soros is spending millions to get a Democrat, any Democrat, elected.
