Ted Re..When I say like Vietnam, I mean hostilities that go on and on, requiring American troops indefinitely. The active part of the war was over in 3 months. The rebuilding has only been going on for 8 months now. Both are very short times, historically. Your liberal cries of Vietnam after such a short time, I don't think will resonate that well with the public. Most people still like the tremendous job the troops are doing in Iraq, and your comparing them to the war criminals, Kerry claims, he, and others became, won't set well. We'll see what kind of war this turns into; however, I doubt your prognostication is the right one. Right or wrong, your prognostication will bite you in the ass, as they usually kill the messenger.
