nde.v - they're one of a few companies who very cleverly fixed their website to freeze the browsers of those with netscape 4.7, on first contact .... you not only can't see their site, you lose anything you have up, got to shut down and start up again ... it's not a bad-looking chart recently, and it should be coming round time for them, but i do not like their forced obsolescence

csl.h.v - 'Cadre's oversubscribed financing adds $40,000 (U.S.)', says the stockwatch headline today .... an encouraging sign, still no permit 'confirmed in writing', though .... tick tock

Bread - mostly here it's white or whitish, as noted above, wife has fixed idea* .... but the flax seeds and nuts and stuff we eat a lot, in porridge .... buy rolled oats by the sack, put some other stuff in each morning, raisins nuts etc, flax seeds always, sometimes crushed sesame seeds ..... once in a while i make my bachelor cookies, oatmeal base, honey, sesame seeds, enough flour to stick it all together, bit of lime juice, orange peel, cinnamon, nutmeg [or cardamom, lots of it fresh-ground], chopped nuts of whatever kind, i prefer almonds, very little baking powder if any [i've tried yeast for rising them a little bit, works well, but you have to let the yeast work overnight in the flour, of course] .... plus an hitherto undivulged secret ingredient - cream of tartar ... just a little .... can't say proportions of all this stuff, never measured, just go by feel ... it's important not to put too much milk in, especially when it's the last of your oats, hard to believe how tough they can get then, learned this the 'hard' way .... i used to make twenty pounds of these at a time, or more, in my bachelor days, they last forever even behind the seat of the pickup, great survival rations .... oh right, sometimes a little baker's chocolate grated in

* - EC will love this - the word 'bimbo' is in México associated with bread, white bread that's far superior to factory made Wunder bread or that sort of thing, it is factory made but has substance and taste .... no one makes bread in the house, especially where we are in the tropics, you don't want any heat source in your dwelling, and bread is not integral to the culture anyway, so few have ovens .... anyway, 'pan bimbo' = 'bread' as we use the word, just saying pan will get you a pastry, 'pan dulce' .... term comes from this company - bimbo.com.mx
