YOu sound like those who wanted John McCain to do the same in 2000 after he lost to Bush. he did manage to galvanize the Republican base similar to what Dean did with the Democratic base this time.

But McCain was a true soldier of the party and he quietly stepped back and supported the nominee. I am sure Dean will do the same. And I am also sure the ultimate result will also be the same: we will have Kerry in the White House or better still we will have Bush out of the White House which is what a majority of the people want.
