The article you cite is probably closer to how those of us in MA view Kerry than the fannnnntasies of American Spirit. It will be interesting how the rest of the nation picks up the story.

I think he's been a good Senator for the state, in terms of liberal agenda and patronage. However, many tend to vote for the patronage guy with liberal social agenda on the local level. However, we want our President to be moderate, a national leader and strong on defense. Kerry will have problems on all those levels. Add in the character issues in your article and you will see that the fannnnatics and Bush haters should have significant problems.
