Well, I dont have any first hand knowledge, BUT I used to work with Roy Black before I retired and he became famous. I found Roy to be a very honest and honorable man (rare for an attorney (gg)). Roy been reported in the local news, and I saw him say the same thing on T/V, that this whole thing is trumped up and what you have read in the Liberal Press is a GROSS EXAGGERATION. The basic facts are:
1. Rush had/has an illness that is extremely painful and does in fact require significant doses of pain killers over a long period of time.
2. Rush did in fact become addicted.
After those two basic facts things have gotten reported way beyond reality. In fact, Roy believes the only crime committed was by the housekeeper and her husband. This business about THOUSANDS of pills is pure HYPE. jdn

Well this story today says there are or were no drugs.
That's not what this says.

In October of last year radio talk show Rush Limbaugh acknowledged a prescription drug addiction to painkillers that began in the late '90s after a surgical procedure.

You check into rehab because you're NOT taking drugs? I bet that's a first.
