Cheney and Scalia are sex crazed murderers, huh, Ray?

I'm sure all the people expressing disgust at the suggestion Kerry might have had an affair will be outraged over this too. Sure they will. I mean they're not hypocrites or anything are they?

WA/Canada border re-opens. Woman did not know there was a grenade in her car. BLAINE, Wash. — One of the U.S.-Canada border's busiest crossings was closed for about an hour Monday after guards found a grenade in the glove compartment of a car leaving the United States, Canadian officials said.

The driver, a woman from Houston, was taken into custody but released after interviewers determined she hadn't known the grenade was in the car, Royal Canadian Mounted Police (search) spokesman Tim Shields said. The woman's husband works for the U.S. military and is apparently stationed at Fort Lewis, south of Tacoma, he said.

"According to her, she was intending to drive toward Vancouver, Wash., not Vancouver, British Columbia," Shields said. Vancouver, Wash., is on the state's border with Oregon, some 250 miles south of the Canadian city.

"She was apparently new to the area," he said.

The 28-year-old woman didn't realize her mistake until she arrived at the Peace Arch (search) border crossing in Blaine, and she had no choice but to drive through Canadian customs. An officer searched the car, which is registered to her, and found the grenade, he said.

She claimed to have no idea the weapon was there and "appeared to be quite traumatized," Shields said.

No charges were expected against the woman, who was returned back to the United States Monday afternoon, said Canadian customs spokeswoman Paula Shore.

Shore said the grenade was discovered about 1 p.m., prompting the closure and evacuation of the Peace Arch crossing. It reopened at 2 p.m.

During the closure officials rerouted traffic to the truck crossing on Pacific Highway (search), less than a mile to the east.

The grenade was being tested Monday afternoon, Shore said, but she would not say whether the device was live.

Mike Milne, a Seattle-based spokesman for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (search), confirmed the closure but declined to elaborate.

About 8 million vehicles cross at Blaine, the northern end of Interstate 5, every year.

Ray,

I have a simpler interpretation of the story.

Cheney and Scalia went "hunting" with a prostitute. Cheney's heart couldn't take it so he came back early. Scalia and the girl left later when he ran out of viagra!

SImilar stories could be told about hunters here in Ca when they had to travel through Nevada to go hunting. Many used to get "tied up" at the Mustang Ranch outside of Reno and never made it to the hunting grounds.

( For those of you that don't know what the Mustang Ranch was please look it up under "houses of ill repute")
