MB, but it takes only 2 hours to repair >300 hour reliability (MTBF*) and less than 2 hour repair time (MTTR*).<

Since I am not quite sure what the MTBF is for other machines, I cannot comment.....but I assume that they would not have included that in the press release unless it stacked up well with others. Would be curious to hear from any industry people.

Mike, making extremely complicated wafers isn't like baking
cookies. There are numerous process chambers on an Endura
platform. Over a 300 hour time frame thousands of wafers
can be processed....sputter targets and chamber cleans need
to be done to insure particle defects are maintained to
spec....this is phenomenal uptime for a piece of semi
equipment this sophisticated. One nice feature is that if
1 process chamber goes down, it can usually be serviced without affecting the rest of the system which keeps
running production wafers. BB
