Very thoughtful article and note. I share some of the same thoughts- Bush seems like a nice enough guy....the people around him I have no tolerance for....they set the whole Iraq deal up well before 9/11. They also didn't know phuck-all about all the tribal/religious/political constituencies that would impact the aftermath of the invasion. The intelligence was there...they just ignored it because it didn't fit their picture.

I see no difference in Rumsfeld, Cheney and Mcnamara - bunch of trigger happy analysts that have never seen combat.
Pearl and Wolfowitz are even scarier.

However, being in a democracy, we need to vote them out.
