You dont defeat islamic terrorist by creating a depression at home. If 9/11 happened in 1998, we would have some agreement but it didnt and anyone who thinks we werent on the verge of depression after 9/11 is just not a student of economics. Also the bold move in Iraq is a strategic move to take down, not only the taliban al quaeda of today but the threat of a greater al quaeda tomorrow. Or at least that was the plan. Some folks just want to go cave by cave. I agree with the president and hope we see the fruits of this war in short order. Mike

Oh, that would have been a move the Author would have been behind. In a pigs eye! We go into countries with Nukes only when forced to. Bush is "damned if you do or don't" by people like this.

Liberals are wonderful at the "you must sacrifice, I will lead you!" rhetoric.
