EUR/USD Traders Have to Be Spooked...

..now by that 84.80 level on the DXY (Us Dollar Index) which Friday looked like the bounce-target for ECB intervention. I would speculate traders are going to pause, to see something more substantial in the form of general, FOREX flows before they stick their necks out too far.

CDE and PBR: My Only Positions.

I continue to hold both, although the CDE tranche has limited upside via a covered call. The PBR position is something I'd like to carry for quite some time.

I am 50% cash. I would buy more New Zealand Govt bonds if the prices softened--but even with the latest rate hikes, their debt market is firm. (The balance sheet of the NZ Govt is rock solid these days.)
