Yes it is basically the same God. The differences are in prophets and messiahs. Jews: Jesus just another prophet, no messiah yet. Christians: Jesus is the messiah and the last of the prophets Islam: Jesus just another prophet, Mohammed was the final prophet There is a big difference in the nature of the Christian vs. Islamic prophet. Jesus was your basic Holy Man, Mohammed was a general and politician as well.
