A collection of his at least questionably legal acts would be most interesting.

Another clause I have never been able to find in the Constitution is the one that says a state cannot secede. Apparently they have a different copy of the document.

Yes, well, it would seem he did good. He and Jefferson agreed the branches of government are equal, and he by god defended his interpretation of the Constitution by freeing slaves in defiance of the Supreme Court, and his notion in this stuck, not that of the Court and its Dred Scott decision. Interesting links on the matter in my original post.
