depends on where the market for Heinz ketchup is. If they are making Heinz ketchup offshore and importing it here, then it is likely the Kerry plan will remove enough tax benefits to make that arrangement less desirable. Then it is simply a business decision as to keeping things where they are or moving.

One thing we know for certain, despite the failure of this administraton in the areas of negotiation, the Yuan is set to rise (likely a double MINIMUM) in 07, so when you add the democrats "anti offshoring" tax proposals plus the crashing dollar plus the Yuan, it is probably much less desirable to offshore in the future than today.
