No... Are you really making the argument that the rich and powerful families have fought and died with the rest of us in the last 40+ years? I'm not making that claim at all. You made this statement: the FACT that the children of the rich and powerful do NOT SERVE You did NOT qualify this statement by excluding WWI and WWII. Therefore, your suggestion that the children of the rich and powerful do NOT SERVE is false. Also, in your original post you did not make this qualification either: Can you name ONE son of a then senator or congressman that did combat duty in Vietnam, much less died there? You are attempting to change your argument. You have stated as FACT that the children of the rich and powerful do NOT SERVE. That's my point. Diz-
