Just a way a brokerage firm could get political contributions to the clintons. I remember while at Hutton, the tax shelter guy coming to work one day after the sale of a cattle tax shelter only to find all the cows had died because of some disease causing a 100% loss for investors who were looking for writeoffs but not losses. The guy almost jumped out the window and there was actually one suicide among the investors. I wound up in sales and never touched tax shelter sales. One giant scam that dwarfs almost everything that happens now, except Enron. Mike
