I'd take my dog ahead of Buddha, the Pope or the Chief Prelate of

of course you would take your dog Joe , he has the Buddha~nature in him too ...he's a Buddha dog , we are Buddha primates , we see each other in each other .
Litttle Buddha Dog , being true to himself and his nature. Not one evil thing about it , no Satan.

;)

all life has Buddha nature coursing within ...its a state of mind , like being a Canadian!

I agree with what you said but there is little spontaneity and laughter in any structured system.

well not always no~laughter , as many Laughing Buddhas will attest .

There are also Lady Buddhas to , like "TARA". And laughter too is only a state of mind. Symphonies , Ballet , Miltary training exercises , College courses...all require "focus of the mind" and due diligence on a daily basis laughter does come unless you have been told its not allowed, but sometimes it just comes spontaneously after great effort. Interesting that some of the poorest people on the earth still laugh much or more than the rich and are quite happy and content . People laugh often the most at other people's misfortunes, or they are crying themselves inside of embarrasment or the fear of that .

Confusing & chaotic sometimes...but the truth none the less of many forces working inside , and the need to observe and develope a maturing center within the mind .

Wars will never end - and why should they? It is after all what we're best at.

Well its only a matter of training and shifting the focus of the mind . Wars have been for a long time what we have been busying ourselves about . There are other trends that have been growing and lending their effect. But still War is very much alive and ritualized everywhere you look . Recognize that in the mind , and look elsewhere then other avenues might open up...if one can let go of some things.

Canada entered WW1 before the U.S. and whipped your ass in 1812 so don't get too uppity.

Eh ? Eh? really eh?

;-))

Couldn't have done it without those true original feathered Canadians ..I have hired many canadians , they are great workers .
