It is politically expedient to be proud. Saving that guy in the river is something to be proud of. Other things, that he has sort of put in the background certainly did not make him proud and would not if they come out. If they are true it could be damning and if they are not true, then he lied about his fellow soldiers at a time they were being villified at home often because of those reports from ex servicemen. Forget the bimbos, kerry has some real problems to overcome--things i havent thought about until today. mike
