It's curious, Howard Dean had $40m and it was only after it was down to about $4m that the press realized it had been spent. I wonder if the RNC's $100m war chest is as big as it was.

The Dems collectively have raised as much as Shrub so it could end up being a pretty even screaming match. The RNC was already running seriously ugly ads about how being against Bush was tantamount to being for terrorism.

They're childish, juvenile, unethical, immoral and effective in rallying their gullible, uninformed base. Still, it's the 10% undecided who can make the difference unless the press is wrong (again) and all the Reps simply stay home out of sheer disgust.

Shrub apparently wanted to scrub the Oval office clean when he came in. That was a public statement and seriously unpresidential. They don't let him out often as he often makes stupid comments like that.

Why is he in office again?
