Ouch is right!!! I have a buddy who built a 3600 sq ft ranch last year, and I haven't had the courage to ask him what his natgas bills have been this winter.
On top of the 3600 sq ft house, his garage is also heated and 1600sq ft...
The only thing worse will be his property tax bill ($13k)

He is a salesman for one of the TYC divisions, so he makes a pile to begin with, but his old house was 1700 sq ft,
so there is a learning curve, so to speak..
