Opposite trend here. The Twin Cities suburbs are becoming more and more Republican.

A lot of Philly democrats moving out to suburbs and what used to be republican strong holds are losing in the surrounding communities of Philly.

Thinking more of states like ohio, wva, wisconsin, minn. where there are large catholic working class populations. He might help a bit in florida. PA, NY, NJ will be hard to win. You are right about that. Its just that in a real close race those states listed above can be pivotal. mike
