OK, well that is good news in that it says that reworking the tax situation might actually improve matters here in the US. On the visa route I think we should abolish temporary visas. Just make everybody a permanent resident who wants to come, I am referring to the tech workforce. Any temporary visas just facilitate offshoring, and there is a lot of fraud in the whole notion of "temporary workers". A lot of them stay around anyway, so we can't enforce it.

IMHO, one of the real positives about Kerry is his deep understanding of international trade. He understands the value of free trade; he also understands the role of government in trade.

On this issue, the Bush program of giving tax breaks to move jobs offshore is crazy.
