Re: My belief is they wanted that oil, plus to finish up Iraq quick and move on to Iran. But now we're bogged down in Iraq so they only got one set of oil-fields.

The PNAC planning documents make it pretty clear what the endgame is. Iraq is intended to merely be the first conquest.
