The job loss that he refers to that his family went through is not because of NAFTA, is it. He says that he "opposed NAFTA". How can he claim that. Any columns he had written prior to his becoming a Senator? Was that on his platform when he ran for Senate.

Kerry is a very good debater and he is going to tear Edwards apart similar to what he did to Dean when he kept persisting in a debate about Dean refusing to release the papers when he was Vermont Governor. We all remember how via satellite hookup from DC he joined the Iowa debate and kept asking the question to Dean directly. He is a tough debater and Edwards better watch out if he ever says that he opposed NAFTA without specific proof.

Edwards will get more press coverage now & that will help get his message out. We've seen Kerry almost exclusively for past few wks.(in fact I'm thanking G_d for the mute button as I type--they broke away from Edwards to put droning Kerry on again, as if we haven't already had enough of him to do us for a lifetime) Starting tomorrow we should have better balance of media coverage between the 2 men.

P.S. One of the female reporters on tonight's Hardball said she's encouraged that Edwards did so well , she said
"we want someone we can put up with for 4yrs". That's my feeling as well. Kerry has already become trite.

Hi Lizzie,

Did you happen to catch Jimmy Hoffa Jr. on Hard Ball tonight.. With endorsements of Kerry, from the likes of him, who needs enemies.<g>. Hoffa/Kerry said they would drill all over... build pipelines to these undrilled "resources" to provide jobs.. To Hell with the environment.. Just drill freakin holes, hoping to get lucky AND elected..

I am a geologist with a CONSCIENCE and KNOW what the risk/reward ratio is.. I know we need and USE resources, for I am not a hypocrite

BUT we need resources with RESPONSIBILITY.
