If I had the time, I'm sure I could dig up some congressional testimony where AG was "invited" (i.e. with leading questions) to criticize the tax cuts and wouldn't. I think it's come up in just the last few months. Alas, it'll have to wait.

BTW, I'm pretty sure I said "bad idea at the time." I've never suggested that sharp tax cuts as a stimulus are prudent when the economy is strong. At the time(s) of the cuts, it was not.
