"Don't you see even the possibility of this?" No. I see the possibility of the appeasers letting the world get more and more dangerous. Like what happened with Hitler before WW2. But in a way more dangerous because these people who have waged war and committed their lives to kill us and our way of lives will USE our freedoms to attack us. Fortunately at least America has the 2nd Amendment so the individual has a chance to protect himself and his family if the system breaks down. But the dems want to take that away too. Sacrafices need to be made in a time of war. If you are afraid that the greatest nation on earth will suddenly become one where the real goal instead of allowing the right to pursue happiness will be to imprison us and lock us up for no crimes committed, I say you are paranoid. "Why not take steps that will truly bring peace" I'm taking off for the night too. But list a few when you have some time and we can discuss them. I trust GWB, and think he has put together a team of brilliant and honorable people to protect us and further the cause of freedom and democracy in the process. The things that have truly made America great.
