With discussions in this forum having passed...indeed, since inception...through a plethora, a veritable litany, of extraneous topics, I don't think I'm inclined to take that request seriously. Within the past two months alone, topics on this thread have meandered lazily through Vietnam, conspiratorial hobbyism, Skull and Bones, the electoral college and voting methodologies, presidential candidates, Zionism, public education, the media, and Ted Kennedy; juxtaposed, I don't think a discussion of socialism is any more tenuous.
