I hope not too much attention. Edwards would be a more formidable opponent to Bush than Kerry. Kerry is just waiting to be picked apart.

Go Kerry go!

I was disappointed that Dean did not endorse Edwards, although he may be saving that firepower for another time.
Great communication skills were the hallmark of Reagan & John Kennedy presidencies. Edwards is an eloquent & persuasive speaker as well but he does lack foreign policy experience. Of course, GW Bush was a novice in that sphere but Cheney brought credibility to the ticket. Which potential VP candidate would contribute most strength to Edwards??

Re: Let's get it on the hot list and maybe it will draw some attention.

Mission accomplished. I just spotted this thread via the "hot list". And signed up.

Does anyone think Edwards might be just a tad lacking in experience to be the anointed one? I reflect upon his constituency in North Carolina who are feeling abandoned by a man who no sooner won his first term in the Senate than he up and went off to keep campaigning for national office.

I'm not seeing anything to the Edwards campaign other than charisma, telegenic good looks, trial lawyer money and cooperation from the media.

In other words, "where's the beef?"

Among many others, I'm really wondering if Edwards has the sort of bona fides on national security and war issues to overcome Bush's unnatural (and ill-won) advantages in this department.

I have nothing against Edwards as a man. But I have to wonder if his insubstantial resume wouldn't make him the butt of ridicule by the despicable 'Karl-Rovian Horror Picture Show™' which has already labeled Edwards "the Breck Girl".
