It's just an ugly situation. The proper thing to do would be to eliminate HAL as a potential contractor.


This principle is so damn obvious, its amazing that they ignore it. They are either very arrogant or very dishonest, or both.

Why? I doubt if it is constitutional to exclude Hal, based on your wild conspiracy dreams. Prove there is wrongdoing, and then punish Hal, or the purchasing agent.
