There's nowhere you can hide. Others have tried to create lives for themselves by moving away from "corrupting" influences and the authorities have found them and charged them with being "anarchists".

Or, maybe, you would like to come to Africa and see the end result of all the immorality --- AIDS. Of course, no-one dares blame the cause of the epidemic on the profligate sexual habits of those who have the disease and who have caught it as result of their own promiscuous behaviour --- that would be too politically sensitive and the politicians fear they would lose control over the masses. So the blame is put on "poverty" --- which is caused by the colonialists who exploited the local inhabitants.

As you say, everyone has their own agenda but in the end all the BS does catch up. Eventually the sheep do wake up --- even if it is in the abattoir.

Meanwhile, "they" know that they can fool some of the people all of the time --- and those are the ones they concentrate on.
