I have the high ceilings in part of my house too. I already had the 12' ladder from building stalls in the barn. A large portion of my interior is white now. I thought it was before but when I painted using real white I found it had been off white. The last, and it will be the last time, I painted the interior I bought a Wagner power roller and a 5 gallon bucket of paint. Those rollers are the nuts for covering large areas of the same color. Lots of waste when cleaning up so they are just for large jobs of the same color.

When I came home from the army I bought a repossed mobile home that had sat all winter with no heat and water in the pipes. 28 leaks and 2 busted toilets. Then there was the electric problems. I learned a lot that year.

Sounds like a nice garage. Me and my buddies, each call our personal garages "The Sanctuary." We compete for bragging rights as to who has the best Sanctuary. The first things to add are a TV, stereo, refrigerator, and phone. You get extra credit for sports cars, 4 wheel drives, boats, and motorcycles.
