Perhaps Mr. Bush was skulking around the base to get his pay, but trying NOT to be seen. He and the pythons could get together on that one. Bush has a lot to offer on the topic, actually, come to think of it; Cheney, too, does a remarkable job at not being seen.

I just think we ought to explore all the angles here.

Yep, I'm pretty sure. Re. the annual examination, it was for the year ended April 30, 1973. He'd spent most of that year in Alabama not at Ellington.
