His strategy is that any Democrat is better than Bush. I don't agree with him on that point. I fear Kerry would place us under control of the UN, so cannot vote for him. Dean told his followers to stay organized through his website & they can act as a force in Dem party. Hopefully, he'll eventually endorse Edwards.

Edwards is just one-term senator, so has not had time to really become a DC insider as yet. That's apparent from the little support he's receiving from the entrenched Dem DC insiders. They've decided to crown Kerry the nominee & are pressuring everyone else to get out of race.
That's a mistake. Edwards drew the crucial swing vote in Wisc last night. Kerry received only the long-time Dem voters. They'll vote for any Democrat, but the Repubs & Independents find Kerry carrying too much negative baggage.
For instance, his war protesting & vote for NAFTA.
Edwards opposed NAFTA & says he will change free trade agreements if elected.

Dean did transform the party though. The other candidates adopted the Dean message more or less and thats when Dean's support started to fall and the rest of the candidates became viable. Prior to Dean, listening to Kerry or Edwards was like a watered down set of excuses for the Bush administration. Democrats don't want Bush policies.

I think Dean will wind up like McCain, an influential figure who is a bit too maverick and flamed out early. The former Dean adviser now with Kerry says he thinks Dean will take a key slot in democratic politics as soon as the primaries are sewn up.

Re: he will be supporting the same special interests he spent so much time railing against.

Uhh, it is always better to engage the mind before the keyboard.

The only thing that matters in 2004 is defeating George Bush. He's evil.

Never forget that.

Bush is evil.

Do you remember now?

Bush is evil.

OK, got that?

Bush is evil.
