Looks like Repubs voted for Edwards in WI merely to keep the show going on in the Democratic primaries, hoping that Edwards will make personal attacks on Kerry. But Edwards realizes that it in all probability, he will be Kerry's running mate, and will not attack Kerry. If you have noticed, Edwards has made personal attacks on nobody else, since he was realistic and appears to be hoping for the VP spot all this time.

Interesting platform, two things I dont agree with him on are:
1. Taxing the wealthiest Americans MORE on Capital gains then the less wealthy. I dont think this would be good for capital formation. Lets face it, its the WEALTHY Americans that supply the capital to start up new businesses and its those new businesses that supply JOBS, so I think that is wrong headed thinking.
2. Like most Democrat politicians they tend to think the middle class is people UNDER $50K a year, that is asinine IMHO. Today, to live comfortably in most parts of America requires at least 70k of AFTER tax income. Sure, it can be done for less but one wont have the luxuries most of us desire. So to me middle class STARTS at at least 50k a year and considering most households have two incomes today that isnt a heck of a lot. jdn
