It's not the tax cuts that push outsourcing to India. It's the weak dollar. And though Bush talks a good game for a "strong" dollar, he really is quite happy with a weak dollar, cuz the lower the dollar goes, the lower the actual value of the trade deficit. But companies facing competitive imports produced far more cheaply than we can have no choice to survive, but to outsource. Last weekend I spoke to customer service in New Delhi and Istanbul.
