Speaking of India, did you see the movie "Spellbound" - there's a couple of Indian kids in that movie and their parents go to incredible lengths to help them win, not only financially but their own time. A work ethic unheard of by American standards. Scary when taken in context of the off shoring debate. No but I saw some news show like Dateline that talked about how an Indian woman have to come up with all these presents before the guy will marry her. And I am talking major presents like a new Lexus. Then sometimes the guy will throw hot grease or acid and disfigure the woman. In shame, the woman goes off to some institution while he gets a new bride with even more presents. Its a sick, sick country.
