It is apparently not a minor issue to a few thousand homosexuals flocking to San Francisco. It is they that are driving the issue. If instead, you go about the relatively minor issue of gay marriages, then clearly your motives are suspect.

This is quite false. The greatest threat to marriage is not divorce because divorce does not aim to generally alter the natural and philosophical underpinnings of marriage. It only aims to alter those underpinnings in very specific and individual cases. The general logic of marriage remains ever intact despite divorce. But when leftists aim to mainstream homosexuality, they take a direct shot at the natural logic of marriage in general. They turn it upside down, shake it and destroy it. Ultimately, marriage is currently limited to a man and woman, with monogamy being the ideal because it is human identity. It is the relationship between humans upon which all humans everywhere are biologically predicated. It is what we are. By mainstreaming the inhuman corruption that is homosexuality, leftists are forcing human society to accept schemes on which no human is based. A terrible evil is being activated and poured upon the earth by leftists. Now, because of people like you, polygamists, bigamists, zoophiles and groups of homosexuals all will have the logical right to have their "unions" recognized by society and supported by tax dollars. You cannot by any rational means give a reason why these abominations should be denied because you have accepted the abomination of homosexuality-- completely destroying the philosophy that makes every human on earth tick. You commit a great evil here.
