Its surprising to see how often the members of this WH contradict each other. Last week, the WH Econ. Advisers said the country will produce 2.6 million jobs this year. Meanwhile, the Sec. of Treasury and Commerse said while touring the PNW that they could not get behind that number; that its not likely the country will produce that many jobs.

Bush has become so accustomed to lying in public, it comes naturally. Feed them another lie....enough of the morons will buy it to win me re-election. We'll worry about the consequences later....well, it is time to pay the piper...the birds are coming home to roost.

Ted,

re: Last week, the WH Econ. Advisers said the country will produce 2.6 million jobs this year.

Better than that, Bush said it, I believe on camera. If it doesn't turn out to be true, and I very much doubt it will, then it will make a great general election ad. You've got Bush up there saying "I'm going to produce 2.6 million jobs", and then you've got the real numbers.

Whoops, strategic error.
