There are huge differences between Edwards & Kerry when it comes to the important issues of this election. First, Kerry has baggage and Edwards does not. Kerry turned on his fellow Vietnam veterans & many of them hold him in disdain since then...he was born into a silver spoon existence, married 2 heiresses & cannot identify with the average citizen; Edwards on the other hand started with nothing, was the first person in his family to attend college & is now a multi-millionaire & a U.S. senator, as the result of both hard work & great communication skills.
When Kerry delivers a speech, my eyes begin to glaze over...he is soooooooooooo boring. Edwards explanation of his stance on any issue is energized, crisp & clear--anything but boring.

They also differ on their NAFTA voting records. Kerry was very pro-NAFTA, Edwards record proves he voted against most of those agreements. Edwards promises to review & make revisions where necessary to relieve the negative effect free trade has had on American workers.

The primary difference between the two men is that Edwards draws votes from Dems, Repubs & Independents while Kerry receives votes from life-long Democrats alone.
