OT tax software. IJ and Ashley, at one point (and it's still true as far as I know) Turbo Tax loaded a "stealth" program when it was installed. It had to do with protecting against illegal copying, but it was permanently a part of your system from then on, at least that was my understanding. I switched to Tax Cut on learning this, and have never looked back. Tax Cut has a different feel, but works just as well IMO. And it will deal with your prior Turbo Tax files. fred
