There are not enough women to go around, much less good women. The sexes are roughly divided in half. Some of us would hog the women, and especially the good ones (sweet, pretty, sexy, and non- nagging), leaving most guys either wife- less, or taking the dregs at the bottom of the punch bowl. Polygamy might work in some isolated communities, but by and large it is a recipe for social dysfunction, hostility, and a world where men are even more preoccupied with competing for women.........
