When the President of your country tells you that we are under attack, that our sovereignty is at stake, that our intelligence report says that Iraq has the potential for nuclear weapons, you trust the President to have done his homework, you trust the President to be telling the truth and you unite and stand behind the President.

As Americans we are proud that in times of such crisis, the politics change and we all rally behind the flag. That is the greatness of this country. Following the 9/11 attack, we have that photograph of all our elected representatives standing shoulder to shoulder on the steps of the Capitol and pledging to set aside all their differences and coming together to defend the country. That is what Kerry and scores of Americans did. Shame on you that you would fall for those who are trying to keep this country divided.

What Kerry is accusing the President is his failure to do his duty to ensure that he did everything possible to save the military lives by working with the other countries of the world. Trying to make sure that the other countries also committed their young men and women instead of out men and women. He is also accusing the Bush Administration of having lied to the American people. The Israeli intelligence specifically said that their Mossad feels Iraq has no nuclear capability that the US cannot wait for 6 months more. But the US did not care for the Israeli intelligence becuase Bush had his mind made up to attack Iraq from the day he took office.
