Bushies should not want to debate tax evasion. Kerry has made it clear he plans to shut down any such loopholes and tax haven schemes he can. Bushies have made it very clear to the IRS that they dont want them to work too hard on the fat cats. Halliburton for instance has dozens of offshore tax haven accounts and subsidiaries. Meanwhile the tax payers are paying Halliburton billions to over-charge the Pentagon. Any taxes being paid on that gouging? And where are the Iraqi oil revenues going? Anyone paying tax on that? Carlyle Group and Bectel also have huge foreign subsidaries for tax evasion purposes.
